…or judge a book by its cover.  The latest evidence of this was the April 11, 2009 Britain’s Got Talent show when an unlikely singer, Susan Boyle, stepped on stage amid doubting judges and a huge audience to make her dream come true.  You’ve probably already heard of this sensation which in just the first few days has become a worldwide phenomenon with over 5,000,000 (now:) 12,000,000 YouTube hits to watch and re-watch her performance.

With no further words needed, I recommend to your listening experience, Susan Boyle: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9lp0IWv8QZY

So, what is your dream?  If you had no known limits, what would you like to do most?  Susan Boyle, 47, singing since she was 12, unemployed church worker, made a promise to her recently deceased mother to audition for this show.  What were your thoughts before you knew she could sing like that?  What did you think of her performance now that you know?   Appropriate choice for her song, “I dreamed a dream” wouldn’t you say?

So, WHAT IS YOUR dream?  And more importantly, what are you doing to make that dream your reality?  I have a formula that I created that goes like this:

dream + written goal + action plan + action = reality

But first you have to begin with coming up with that dream.  What’s yours?

“There are some people who live in a dream world, and there are some who face reality and then there are those who turn one into the other.”
